Hats Off "Dear Success Seekers"!!! I was honored to not only attend Sister Friends United, Inc. "Stand Strong" Women's Hat Luncheon, held at the Central Arkansas Main Library on Saturday, March 30, 2013, but elated to walk away with the coveted "Best Hat" competition award. I also walked away with a revelation that a hat is like success, uniquely created and worn!!! There is no "one size fits all" design, and both success and hats come in different sizes, colors and styles!!! Hats, like success are personal and are defined by the one who dares to wear them!!! How do your dare to wear your "Hat of Success"????

Success Expert Dr. Michele Wright was featured among some of Arkansas' finest authors during Saturday's (February 9, 2013) "Reading and Writing for Success" Festival held at Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, Arkansas. The organizers of the event say literacy, reading and writing can be used as a weapon to fight violent crimes in urban areas. Literary consultant Patrick Oliver says advanced literacy is so important now more than ever. Dr. Wright's book, "DEAR SUCCESS SEEKER: Wisdom from Outstanding Women" was one of several notable books featured on history and culture during this landmark Black History event.

The Reading and Writing for Success Festival convened on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Rockefeller Elementary School in Little Rock, Arkansas; and debuted the "SUCCESSFUL SISTERS POWER PANEL" featuring Success Panelists: Martha Dixon, Dress designer for former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Author of "Triumph Beyond Measure" (http://triumphbeyondmeasure.com/); Alice Faye Duncan, National Board Certified Library Media Specialist and Author of NAACP Image Award Nominated children's book "Honey Baby Sugar Child" (http://www.alicefayeduncan.com/); Janis F. Kearney, a writer, lecturer and oral historian who served as personal diarist to President William Jefferson Clinton and Author of multiple books including "Cotton Field of Dreams: A Memoir" (http://writingourworldpress.com/wowp.php); and Success Expert Dr. Michele Wright, CEO of the Greater Ozarks-Arkansas Blood Services Region of the American Red Cross and Multiple Award-Winning Author of "DEAR SUCCESS SEEKER: Wisdom from Outstanding Women" (http://dearsuccessseeker.com/).

CONGRATULATIONS MADAM CEO!!! Michele R. Wright, Ph.D. officially assumed the office of Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Ozarks-Arkansas Region of the American Red Cross on September 17, 2012. Dr. Wright will oversee the Red Cross' blood services to 52 hospitals in Arkansas, southwestern Missouri and the greater Memphis area. The Best is Yet to Come!!!

Dr. Michele Wright was a featured workshop presenter at the Region IV Christian Education Convention (comprising the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, West Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas) held September 6-8, 2012 at Greater First Deliverance Temple in Oklahoma, OK.

Dr. Wright presented her workshop "Social Networking and Its Impact" on September 7, 2012 from 1:30 - 2:25 p.m. Wright's workshop topic uniquely integrated into the overall Region IV CEA Convention theme: "Unifying God's People Through Christian Education in the Challenging and Changing 21st Century" (Bishop Vanuel C. Little, Host Pastor; Elder Delbert Johnson, Host State Superintendent; Evangelist Diane E. Winfrey, Region IV CEA Director).

Notable Awarding Winning Author and Arkansas Resident Michele R. Wright, Ph.D. was the official appointed "Coin Tosser" to start the game between the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Golden Lions and Langston University Oklahoma Lions during the Delta Classic 4 Literacy 2012 college football game held at War Memorial Stadium's AT&T Field on September 1, 2012 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Dr. Fitz Hill created this event, then known as the Literacy Classic, while serving as head football coach at San Jose State University. After becoming president of Arkansas Baptist College, Dr. Hill restarted this event in Little Rock as The Delta Classic 4 Literacy, with the intent of raising awareness about literacy improvement needs in the Delta region of the South and to raise money to fund literacy programs.

The Delta Classic 4 Literacy (DC4L) Author Showcase took place on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, from 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., in the President Dining Hall of Arkansas Baptist College, Little Rock. The motive behind this event was to promote literacy, writing and reading with local students, parents, professionals and educators. Book talks, readings and book signings were performed by local Award-winning Author and Success Expert Dr. Michele R. Wright among numerous other notable authors including President of ABC, Dr. Fitz Hill; Radio Host and Editor, Patrick Oliver; Authors Twana Nuniss, Janis Kearney, Celia Anderson; and Tuskegee Airmen Author and Historian Edmond Davis who was accompanied by Tuskegee Airmen Flight Instructor Milton R. Crenchaw (age 93).

National and International Awarding Winning Author and Success Expert Michele R. Wright, Ph.D. was the Special Invited Guest on the Nationally Syndicated "What Matters Most To You" Radio Talk Show with Vincent T. Edwards "Mr. Speaker" on WTAL 1450 AM in Tallahassee, Florida. Dr. Wright shared invaluable wisdom and pearls to help others to become more successful in career and life. Listen now!

Sister Friends United, Inc. presented National and International Multiple Award-Winning Author, Speaker, Success Expert, Corporate Leader and Community Trailblazer Michele R. Wright, Ph.D. with the organization's first-ever Women of Excellence - "Service Award" during its 5th Annual "Women of Excellence" Red Carpet Gala on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Riverfront Wyndham Hotel (North Little Rock, AR).

Author, Speaker and Success Expert Michele R. Wright, Ph.D. was the "Guest Keynote Speaker" at the "Not Easily Broken - Still Standing" Empowerment Conference presented by Sister Friends United, Inc. on March 17, 2012 at the Central Arkansas Downtown Main Library, Darragh Auditorium (Little Rock, AR).

International Award-Winning Author and Success Expert Michele R Wright served as "Featured Motivational Speaker" at the 3rd Annual Women's Conference "Women Transforming the Community Through Integrated Care; Impacting the Mental, Physical, & Spiritual Nature" sponsored by the Little Rock Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. on January 14, 2012 at the Delta House (Little Rock, AR).

Dr. Michele R. Wright was a Special Anniversary return guest featured on "Designing Your Life, Today", an internet radio talk show with Host Pat Council, known as "The Power Lady". Guests were able to tune in and learn from the success expert to find out what success is truly all about. During this inspirational segment, Dr. Wright shares how to position your life for success.

The theme of the event was Multiple Sclerosis Awareness and included motivational speeches by Barbara Bates of Barbara Bates Designs, Talayah Stovall, Radio Host & President of TGrace, and Sylvia Fedrick, Recording Artist and TV & Radio Host.

The event took place on April 30, 2011 in Chicago, Illinois. Although there were many fine looking chapeaus and equally lovely ladies, Dr. Wright walked away with the prestigious Best Casual Hat award. We couldn't be more proud of our fashionista!
